Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon (COAIB - Coordenação das Organizações Indígenas da Amazônia Brasileira)
We founded our organization so that we, Indigenous peoples, can have self-representation in the fight for our rights. We stand for ourselves! United to promote our political articulation and the strengthening of Indigenous organizations, which make up our network throughout the Brazilian Amazon. We work for the demarcation of our traditional lands. We fight to guarantee our rights to quality healthcare and dignified, differentiated education. We develop and promote actions that strengthen the cultural diversity of our peoples and also our sustainability. -
