Founded in 1962, Welthungerhilfe (WHH) has over 60 years of experience in rapid emergency relief and rehabilitation and in long-term development cooperation projects with national and international partner organizations. WHH champions food and nutrition security for all, at all times, with a goal of zero hunger. WHH bases its efforts on the principle of empowering people to help themselves, which it implements with measures ranging from rapid disaster relief to rehabilitation to long-term development cooperation projects with national and international partner organizations. Since being founded in 1962, it has provided funding of EUR 5.42 billion for more than 12,777 overseas projects about 72 countries. Welthungerhilfe is recognized as a non-profit organization by the German tax office. -
