Centro Latino Americano de Ecología Social (CLAES)

Is an independent non-governmental organization dedicated to research, action, and promotion of social ecology. Recognizing a reciprocal connection between human groups and their environment, within a historical context, it considers socio-environmental problems, linking research with action, based on an ethical commitment to the defense of life and the promotion of alternatives to development.
