Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation Program

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) Abandoned Mine Land (AML) Reclamation Program addresses the hazards and environmental degradation posed by legacy coal mines. While AMLs can be dangerous and unwelcoming, through reclamation, this land can find a new purpose.
