Ashoka
Builds and cultivates a community of Fellows, Young Changemakers, Changemaker Institutions, and beyond who see that the world now requires everyone to be a changemaker – a person that sees themselves as capable of creating large-scale, positive change. And amidst the exponential growth of a new inequality in changemaking at a worldwide scale, mobilizes (and accelerates) a movement to build an "Everyone a Changemaker" world where all people have the right and ability to co-lead solutions that transform their societies for the better. -
Savage Society
Telling our own stories sourcing traditional and contemporary Indigenous perspectives, Savage Society was created in 2004 for members to produce their own stories as practising Indigenous Theatre and Film Artists. Artistic Director Kevin Loring is a member of the Nlaka’pamux Nation from the Lytton First Nation in British Columbia. We develop work that reflects our world view, sourcing traditional stories and cosmologies and our contemporary realities as Indigenous people for both professional and community settings. Savage Society operates on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), sq̓əc̓iy̓aɁɬ təməxʷ (Katzie), Qayqayt, kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem ), Kwantlen and sc̓əwaθenaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsawwassen) Nations. -
tâpwêwin media
tâpwêwin media is an Indigenous-led storytelling lodge where truth-telling lives and breathes. We share news and stories that matter to Indigenous communities, while nurturing a new generation of storytellers through training, kinship, and cultural care. We believe that storytelling is ceremony — a way to uphold high standards, protect our languages, and honour our people. Through journalism and creative expression, we help others remember who they are, and what they carry. Our first project — and flagship publication — is IndigiNews, a trusted Indigenous-led newsroom serving communities with integrity, heart, and cultural respect. It’s just the beginning.
